In my work I investigate dualities: time and place, past and present, life and death.  My personal experience leads me to question these conventional divisions and motivates me to restore the lost links between seemingly disconnected entities.  In rendering reality, I strive for simultaneity.  Separation in the concept of time is deceiving.  I refuse to accept the past as history.  All exists, nothing dematerializes; nature recycles itself.  

A tangible creative process, such as painting (which incorporates drawing, photography, motion) helps me to reconcile the disconnect.  Human presence and absence intertwine.  They occupy the same space, only they affirm themselves through different senses. 
My work is driven by my intuition.  It provides me the possibility to move beyond the world as it is imposed upon me and toward a world as I am able to perceive it.

Zajmuje mnie dualizm rzeczy: czasu i miejsca, przeszłości i chwili teraźniejszej, życia i śmierci.  Moje własne doświadczenie sprawia, że odrzucam umowność tych podziałów na rzecz podjęcia próby ich scalania. W swoich pracach staram się zachować zaobserwowaną w rzeczywistości równoczesność zdarzeń. Pozorna rozdzielność czasu dezorientuje. Nie zgadzam się z pojęciem przeszłości jako historii. Wszystko istnieje jednocześnie, nic nie dematerializuje się; natura jest w stanie wiecznego przetwarzania się.

Technika malarska (mieszcząca w sobie rysunek, fotofrafię, film/wideo) to technika, która w swej materialności pozwala na podjęcie rzeczywistej próby “scalania”. Pojęcia obecności i absencji zbiegają się; zajmując tę samą przestrzeń, objawiają się za pomocą różnych zmysłów.
Moją pracą kieruje intuicja. Dzięki niej, mogę poruszać się poza świat, jaki jest mi narzucany, w stronę takiego, jaki jestem zdolna postrzegać.
